We zijn een door een familie gerunde kleinere boot. Het beste van The Mermaid is dat je je dag op zee met een unieke ervaring achterlaat in plaats van slechts een cijfer te beginnen. Bij het instappen wordt u persoonlijk begroet door de kapitein. Aangezien we een kleinere boot zijn, gaan we zonder extra kosten de grotten binnen. Je kunt de grotten bekijken en foto's maken. Het draait allemaal om de klantervaring aan boord van de Mermaid en we zullen ons uiterste best doen om ervoor te zorgen dat u geniet van uw dag op zee en ervoor te zorgen dat dit het hoogtepunt van uw vakantie wordt!

What To Expect
Blue Lagoon
Je gaat om 10.00 uur aan boord van de boot bij Bugibba Jetty. De boot verlaat de steiger om 10.30 uur en vertrekt voor de cruise van een hele dag. Als u langs de kustlijn vaart, heeft u een spectaculair uitzicht op de Maltese kustlijn. Wij zijn een kleinere boot die u zonder extra kosten de grotten kunt betreden. De boot gaat de grot binnen, zodat u de gelegenheid heeft om foto's te maken. Je eerste stop is bij de beroemde Blue Lagoon Comino. Waar u de mogelijkheid heeft om te zwemmen, snorkelen en duiken in het kristalheldere water van de Middellandse Zee. Eenmaal aangemeerd bij Comino kun je duiken en springen vanaf de boot. U kunt het land van Comino te voet ontdekken. Voor de lunch is er een snackbar aan boord die eten en drinken verkoopt en sanitaire voorzieningen heeft.

Gozo
Na 1 uur op Comino ga je aan boord van de The Mermiad, waar je naar je tweede stop Mgarr Harbor, Gozo, vaart. Terwijl de boten de haven binnenvaren, raden we u aan uw camera's bij de hand te hebben om foto's te maken van het adembenemende eiland Gozo. Je krijgt de gelegenheid om te doen wat je wilt op het eiland Gozo, jezelf te verkennen en jezelf onder te dompelen in de cultuur van Gozo. Op het genoemde tijdstip staat The Mermaid in de haven klaar om uw boottocht voort te zetten. Op de terugweg naar Malta vaart de boot door het Comino-kanaal en neemt nog meer prachtige grotten in, zoals een gigantische octopusgrot, een grot met open bovenzijde en de kristallen lagune. Voordat u stopt bij uw volgende bestemming.

Je stopt voor een stop van 30 minuten op de historische eilanden St Pauls. Je hebt de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen op het afgelegen eiland. Je kunt ook lopen en het standbeeld van St. Paul bovenaan zien. De kapitein piept op de hoorn en we brengen je terug naar het eiland Malta. Bij uw terugkeer naar Malta kunt u de Maltese kustlijn en de prachtige stad Bugibba bekijken. We komen om 18.00 uur terug, wanneer uw heerlijke dag op de zeemeermin ten einde loopt.

The trip was amazing! Because of the smaller size of the boat we‘ve been able to see a lot more things than usually! Driving along and inside the caves was my personal favorite. I would recommend to take a seat in the front if the weather is good.
And the crew was amazing. Always happy to give tips and background information. We would definitely do it again!

Excellent. Really good day out. We opted for the additional speed boat trip to the caves @€15 each which was well worth the money.

This is the 2nd time I’ve done a boat trip in Malta and this one by far was the best one for people we want to come and explore the island. The views were spectacular and the whole experience itself was incredible. This boat actually takes you up close and into the caves, also going to Gozo, the blue lagoon and St. Paul’s island ( not a lot of boats take you here) also lots of swimming opportunities and also sightseeing if swimming isn’t for you. The lads who run the boat were very hard working and gave you lots of ideas on how to spend your day and the best places to go once on the islands. Would definitely go on this boat again if I visit Malta with friends/family.

It was a nice day out. We enjoyed all d places we visited but I will advise d management of mermaids cruise to put more time to Gozo slot. We were not able to go on d bus tour because we were given just 2hrs. Captain was nice n friendly. We really enjoyed our day.

Very enjoyable and good value. A traditional smaller boat, not overcrowded, good communication from captain and a good itinerary. Blue lagoon was fabulous, warm and calm, glad we took snorkels. Gozo time was enough for a leisurely lunch at the marina, and chance to see caves and St Paul's island was interesting. Recommended.

Loved our cruise with Mermaid. The boat is not so big ,so it had that personal feel , and you get the feel of tradional Maltese boats, it was also good for going into the caves. The captain is really friendly and helpful and a good source of information. Highly recommend . We also went for a sunset cruise. It was awesome

We had a great time onboard! It’s a lovely little boat and we got to see everything we wanted to, we especially enjoyed Comino!
The only negative is that it’s sold as 20 capacity but there was at least double the number of people onboard so it was a bit cramped with not much space which was disappointing as we booked it as it said maximum of 20 guests. We would still recommend this trip though!

Fantastic boat trip

Amazing little cruise and a fantastic value for money, we got a whole days trip for less than €15 euros each. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and gave some little insight’s into some of the caves that were used in films.
Would recommend using these guys instead of a larger boat company as I feel their attention to detail would be much better.

Great experience in Comino Island

We spent an amazing day on the boat and with the team. Comino and Blue Lagoon were amazing and the water was perfect! Blue Lagoon is a bit crowded but there were the possibility to jump from the boat and enjoying the wonderful water from there.
We really enjoyed the tour in the caves.
We didn’t enjoy much Gozo because the buses were not running and we didn’t do much.
We found out in the morning that there was the possibility to stop at Blue Lagoon for more hours (not going to Gozo) maybe this is the best option!

Malta in Winter

This island has lot of amazing Mediterranean views. But I suggest, not to rely on public transportation. Blue water & beautiful seacoast. Almost all the tourist destination requires little or additional walks, so I suggest not feasible for disabled people. Night life & pubs is very best in some locations. I don't liked much in Gozo, because public transportation is very limited to some locations. Blue lagoon is good for scuba, but in winter I suggest to not. But views are amazing.
