Learning the history very informative pleasant cruise staff excellent price and very easy to book I printed tickets and downloaded them to phone

Just about the right length at 90 minutes. Any longer in my experience induces lethargy. Crew was pleasant and came round to take orders for drinks.

TRADITIONAL HARBOUR TOUR ON A TRADITONAL BOAT - EXELLENT ALL ROUND

This review is about the traditional wooden boat, one of which is called Ben. I suspect that many of the more negative reviews under concern the big RED modern characterless catamaran boats which go under a similar name. Having done both trips this weeks there is no comparison. One is an impersonal experience and the other , on the wooden multi coloured boat, is just so good in comparison. I had a history question I wanted answered, I went to the wheelhouse, and asked, the Skipper said OK when we get to the place where it happened I'll tell you and show you ( HMS Illustrious WW2)..... and he did. This boat being smaller can go to places the others don't, you can sit in the open by the bows , its a true traditional harbour trip. Refreshments available, Shelter available. Forgot to mention the friendly lady at Sliema ferry stage who sold me the ticket, she was very helpful. Altogether a much more personal experience than on the far more commercial red boats where you can't even get near the wheelhouse.

Worthwhile and great value to see areas of the country

Did this last minute on our last evening in Malta. Highly recommend as it was a brilliant way to see many parts of the island you would have missed otherwise. The tour guide was funny and we got a great insight into the history of the harbour as well. Drinks were also offered on board. We went at sunset and it was a great time to see everything.

Wonderful way to see Valetta and the Three Cities. Got picked up from our hotel. Well worth the money.

A lovely trip with stunning views. They gave a very detailed history of the island which stood out. The boat was comfy and even had drinks available. Just the right amount of time.

Harbour Cruise to the numerous Valletta harbours

The connecting bus picked us up on time in the centre of Valletta. The cruise left Sliema harbour and we went to various creeks and harbours for about 75 mins. The tour was OK and the commentary adequate but not inspiring. When we arrived back in Sliema there was no real direction for our return bus to Valletta and we waited about 25 minutes before our return bus. This was partly due to the harbour tour taking 15 mins less than advertised. It was OK but not great.

We took this cruise at the end of hour holiday having seen most of the area from land. We were unable to sit on top as it was deemed to be a bit choppy. The captain was rather brusque and the 90 minute trip was actually about 75. Commentary is in English. The loud music blaring out in between was unnessecary

Nice little cruise, different point of view of the city. But we started 2 hours late, because of the bus that picked up us was blocked in the traffic jam.
