Nous sommes un petit bateau familial. La meilleure chose à propos de The Mermaid est que vous quitterez votre journée en mer avec une expérience unique plutÎt que de commencer juste un numéro. Vous serez personnellement accueilli par le capitaine à l'embarquement. Comme nous sommes un bateau plus petit, nous entrons dans les grottes sans frais supplémentaires. Vous pouvez voir les grottes et prendre des photos. What To Expect
Blue Lagoon
Vous embarquerez Ă bord du bateau Ă 10h Ă la jetĂ©e de Bugibba. Le bateau quitte la jetĂ©e Ă 10h30 et part pour la croisiĂšre d'une journĂ©e. En remontant le littoral, vous aurez une vue spectaculaire sur la cĂŽte maltaise. Nous sommes un bateau plus petit, vous pourrez entrer dans les grottes sans frais supplĂ©mentaires. Le premier arrĂȘt est au cĂ©lĂšbre Blue Lagoon Comino. OĂč vous aurez l'occasion de nager, de faire de la plongĂ©e avec tuba et de plonger dans les eaux cristallines de la mer MĂ©diterranĂ©e. Une fois amarrĂ© Ă Comino, vous pouvez plonger et sauter du bateau ou dĂ©couvrir le pays de Comino Ă pied. Pour le dĂ©jeuner, il y a un snack-bar Ă bord et des toilettes. Ă notre retour Ă Malte, le bateau navigue Ă travers le canal de Comino en admirant de plus belles grottes comme une grotte de poulpe gĂ©ante, une grotte Ă face ouverte et le lagon de cristal. Vous vous arrĂȘterez dans les Ăźles historiques de St Paul pour un arrĂȘt de 30 minutes pour une derniĂšre baignade ou pour marcher et voir la statue de St Paul. Nous revenons Ă 18 heures lorsque votre dĂ©licieuse journĂ©e sur la sirĂšne se terminera.

We took the Bus from Valletta to the Harbour. The boat is a very nice fairly small boat. Wherefore there are not as many people on board and during the ride you can even put your feet in the water and makes it really enjoyable.
The blue lagoon is of course really crowded but as soon as you go a little bit around the corner to the next bay you can find quieter spots. But as expected the water in the blue lagoon is gorgeous and you can see lots of different fish.
The add on for us was St. Paulâs Bay where we stopped. For the adventure type there is a great spot for cliff diving.
Great tour! Only recommend it especially with very friendly crew and captain!

I explain why there is no better tour and boat in Northern Malta.

This is the best boat tour and owner you can get in Buggiba and in the surrounding.
These are the reasons for this.
(1) The boat is small enough to enter the caves, the big ones are too big to enter the caves, this goes into the caves.
But it is big enough not to feel sick on the boat and the trip is not too long.
(2) The owner and captain is very nice, I have ordered a tour via internet and he has called me and recommended different day than booked because the weather on that day would be too windy to enjoy (!!!) .
That is a family driven business with the advantages.
(3) Going from Buggiba harbour to Blue Lagoon and back is better than going from Valetta, even with a bigger boat, because you go the whole day and pass boring coastline, with this smaller boat from Buggiba you have real "sea-feeling2 and can spend longer at the attractions.
(4) On this tour you also pass Como Island (at least you see the harbour city), you can book a tour there but better is to stay in blue lagoon and enjoy the time there.
(5) You stop at the "St. Pauls Island" on the way back.
So you have the chance to visit the St. Paul's statue, this is included and a real highlight.
(6) It started later than the other boats (in Oct-2021), therefore you have less stress in the morning and can enjoy breakfast.

The captain and first mate were very helpful and attentive. The smaller boat made for a more intimate experience than some of the bigger party boats. We were unable to visit St. Paul's Island due to the waves. That was unfortunate, but safety first. Overall this was a very good experience and excellent value for your money.

Some amazing places. Saw a lot without feeling rushed. Captain and crew were excellent. Traditional Maltese boat and smaller group. Avoid the big boats. Youâll regret it.
